Interview with Miguel Roldán Molina

Ángel Miguel Roldán Molina is a Spanish journalist and researcher who currently works for the television station Canal Sur Televisión.  In 2007 Ángel, and film director José Herrera Plaza, released a 96 minute documentary documenting the 1966 nuclear disaster which occurred on the beaches of their home province of Almeria, Spain. The film footage, photographs, and documents used reconstruct the discharge of 4 nuclear missiles from a US B52 bomber on the beaches of Spain had at the time been veiled by the silence of a Spanish Dictatorship and the secrecy of the US cold war military regime. The information used to reconstruct this story was obtained using the right of access to information.

The FOI battles of Hristo Hristov and Genka Shikerova

Hristo Hristov is Bulgarian investigative journalist who digged deeply for years to clear out the facts surrounding the assassination of the dissident writer and BBC journalist of Bulgarian origin Georgy Markov in London in 1978. Within a period of several years Hristov collected a lot of information kept with different archives which supported the conclusion of the former state security services’ involvment in the story.
